Essential Eight: Azure Setup

🔐 Optional Feature — This guide is only required if your organisation has opted into compliance assessments. You can skip this section if you don't need governance or compliance features.

The Azure permissions required for Essential Eight compliance assessments are part of the standard DATACOM Portal Azure onboarding.

Follow Step 7 of the Azure App Registration guide to grant the necessary Microsoft Graph permissions and enable compliance signal collection.

Once those permissions are in place, DATACOM Portal will automatically begin collecting compliance signals. See the Essential Eight overview for how to view your results and generate compliance statements.
